In 2008, California introduced legislation that would put a CRV on all plastic bottles, as well as make a few administrative changes to the law.

Arizona Bottle Bill
Like a flower in the desert, a bottle bill appeared in the legislature, and will probably disappear just as quickly. A 5- and 10¢ deposit is proposed on all AZ beverages, but sources say it probably won't go anywhere, given the present makeup if the Arizona legislature.
New York Bigger Better Bottle Bill
Gov. Eliot Spitzer once again included updating NY’s bottle bill in his budget proposal. Campaign events sponsored by NYPIRG continue to keep the bill in the public eye.
Connecticut Bottle Bill Expansion
Connecticut Audubon and others continue to campaign for an updated Connecticut deposit law in 2008.
