Minnesota House introduces bottle bill

"The Minnesota House has introduced three House Files — 4046, 4047 and 4048 — that would create a beverage container redemption program for the Land of 10,000 Lakes."

This article could not be reproduced here, but it describes HF 4045, which requires beverage manufacturers to register with the state and set up recycling programs for their containers; HF 4047, which sets up a deposit-refund system; and HF 4048, which bans the landfilling of beverage containers.
