Arizona needs to recycle, stop the waste

Regarding the large amount of trash in the Salt River and the many bottles and cans in landfills:

Arizona needs a bottle bill just like the other states. What good does it do to try to clean up a state that lets the public trash items?

It's a lot cheaper to clean bottles and reuse them than to use the energy to make new glass. It also is a lot cheaper to crush and melt the cans than to make new ones from ore.

State officials are so afraid that the major stores may have to make changes.

Here's a fact they may not know: The machines are out there already to recycle glass.

Yes, I know some will cry state's rights. But what about citizens not of a state but of the world?
