Every year, the Container Recycling Institute (CRI) collects and analyzes data on the performance of every US state that operates a deposit return system (AKA a "bottle bill"). CRI then creates a table indicating each state's redemption rate as well as other prominent features of each system, such as the percentage of deposit container material collected through curbside and the percentage of all beverage containers sold in the state that are covered under the deposit program.
