2 cents for what is called a "redemption center fee." In addition 25 percent of the "Illinois Container Fee and Deposit Fund" (primarily unclaimed deposits) is returned to and divided among distributors.

Beverages Covered: wine, alcoholic liquor, beer, mineral water, tea, coffee, soda water, or similar carbonated soft drinks, bottled water, juice, or other drinks in liquid form...excluding products that are primarily derived from dairy
